Every era of music has its traits, tropes, and fashion that helps definite it, and the ‘90s were no exception. The grunge, hip hop, dance, pop, indie and alternative scenes all had their own unique styles during this time, many of which are still prevalent in pop culture today. The music from ‘90s will live forever but tracking down original vinyl pressings is no easy feat, but it happens.
It would take an age to list everything here that we have in stock from the ‘90s, but you can see some highlights below and find the rest of our catalogue at eil.com.
ALICE IN CHAINS Jar Of Flies / Sap (Original 1994 UK limited edition 11-track double LP comprising the 7-track mini album pressed on Translucent Yellow Vinyl plus the bonus 5-track ‘Sap’ 12″ pressed on Translucent Blue Vinyl [with an ETCHING on Side D], an early acoustic EP which showcases Alice In Chains at their most sublime. Complete with the individual picture inners, the gatefold picture sleeve retains its hype sticker. The sleeve has a small scuff in the top back edge and a little general edgewear, whilst the vinyl appears barely played).
AC/DC Live (1992 UK limited edition 20-track double LP, featuring classic live recordings of Back In Black, Jailbreak, You Shook Me All Night Long, Whole Lotta Rosie, Highway To Hell and more. The glossy gatefold picture sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl is Near Mint with no need to upgrade – a wonderful copy WX493).
MADONNA Erotica (1992 UK issue 14-track double vinyl LP pressed in Germany, housed in a hype-stickered gatefold picture sleeve with ‘toe sucking’ image on the reverse, along with the lyric printed inners. The sleeve shows only the lightest edgewear, whilst the vinyl shows only light signs of play with the odd hairline paper scuff. Overall an excellent conditon example WX491).
