THE BUYING & PRODUCT TEAM

JULIAN: Julian is one of the original co-founders and our head buyer. He specialises in 60s/70s, Beatles, Stones, Zep, Jazz vinyl collections – British, Modern & Avant Garde.

STEPHEN: Stephen (or Syd) manages the Product Team that brings the stock in and ultimately gets it live on our site. He is also a key buyer specialising in 70s to 90s Heavy Metal & indie, Rock & Prog including Led Zep, Queen, Rush, Jethro Tull and beyond. Syd joined our team in 2010.

MARK: Mark is one of our senior buyers and sources Pop, Punk & New Wave, Indie and Alternative from underground to mainstream. Mark has been on the team since 1987 and coaches our new buyer recruits.

GLEN : Glen is one of our buyers, his area of knowledge and expertise covers Indie & Alternative, Movie/Film Soundtracks, Grunge & Metal, Electronica & current music and he overseas our East Kent/Ashford buying. Glen also contributes editorial to various prominent music publications for the Company and writes for our blog.

TIM: Tim is a key product buyer. He’s mad about Punk/New Wave & 80s indie, disco/soul/funk/electronica and basically all manner of strange records that defy easy categorisation!

RICH: Rich joined us in 2008 and is a key researcher and buyer of Jazz, Funk, Disco, the stranger and more unusual preferred. He heads up our Hertfordshire and East Of England buying office.

YASHIKI: Mr Yashiki is our Japanese based buyer travelling Japan wide sourcing vast amounts of rare product, spanning all genres. He started working with us since 1998 and before that was one of our customers! All our Japanese stock ends up in our UK Warehouse for sorting and selling.

RICHARD: Richard joined our Product Team in 2003 and having relocated, set up our South West buying Office based in Devon.  He buys anything from Art Pepper to Frank Zappa – 1950s to the 2000s.

LAURA: Laura works alongside our buyers, researching, pricing and describing stock for our website and has done so since 2003. She wears many hats and regularly provides customer service support answering emails, calls and much more.

SHARON: Sharon also joined us in 2003 and works alongside our buyers, researching, pricing and describing stock for our website

JEAN PAUL: JP works alongside our buyers, researching, pricing and describing stock for our website. JP also looks after our Blogs, Twitter Accounts, Facebook pages & Groups and Instagram. YouTube… He joined the team in 1996!

PHIL: Phil works alongside our buyers, researching, pricing and describing stock for our website

MIKE: Mike first worked for us in 2001 then left to teach English in Japan. 17 years later he returned to the UK and he’s back on our team.  Mike buys, researches and adds product to our site. Our customers can communicate with him in Japanese

ADRIAN: Adrian works on our Product Team undertaking some of the buying, grading, pricing and adding of items to the site.

MATT: Matt is the most recent member to join the Product Team.  Matt will be grading, pricing and writing about items for our site.

THEO: Theo joined the Product Team and is writing about, pricing and grading items for our site.

DOM: Dom works on our Product Team, writing about the items you see listed on our site.

LOUISE: Lou works with the Product Team writing about the items on our site.

THE SALES & SERVICE TEAM

CATHRYN Cathryn is a Director and oversees day to day business operations, logistics and recruitment. If you think you’ve got what it takes to join our team, she would love to hear from you in writing.

ROY: Another long timer, Roy joined us in 1997. He takes care of customers needs via phone, email or live Chat and yes, we still have many active customers since 1997 and before!

JASON: Jason answers emails from all our websites and takes care of our third party stores.

CHERYL: Since 1996, Cheryl has worked across most areas of the Company and is now responsible for all stages of customer orders, from the moment it hits our system to the moment it leaves our warehouse.  There’s not much Cheryl doesn’t know about what goes on here. And everything in between. Cheryl and her team also take care of the images of our stock you see on the sites.

BEN: Ben is part of our Admin & Despatch team.

TRICIA: Tricia has been part of our team for many years, you can see her pictured here. She’s happiest looking after stock images and warehousing.

JAMES: joined our team after completed the Kickstart Scheme

DAVE: Dave takes care of our buildings, our warehousing and our Trade Sales.

STEVE HILL: Steve is our most recent new team member working on the Admin & Despatch team.

KATIE & ZACH: Work most Saturdays on our Admin & Despatch team.

ROBERT: Rob is one of the original co-founders and our Managing Director overseeing key IT projects, company strategy and analytics. The big stuff.

GARY: Gary is a Senior Software Engineer.

MIKE T: Mike is also a Senior Software Engineer
