For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.
While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

WASP The Crimson Idol (1992 UK 10-track BLACK VINYL LP for the fifth studio album by the American heavy metal band, including the singles Chainsaw Charlie [Murders In The New Morgue], The Idol, I Am One and Hold On To My Heart, hype-stickered glossy picture sleeve with card lyric inner. The sleeve shows only a little light edgewear with a 1″ solit to the top edge whilst the vinyl has just a few minor surface scuffs – overall a superb copy of thisnow sought after release PCSD118).
TESLA Psychotic Supper (1991 UK 13-track LP pressed in Germany, by the US hard rockers, glossy picture sleeve with illustrated inner. This copy is in near mint conditon GEF24424).
POISON Swallow This Live (Rare 1991 UK 17-track double LP featuring thirteen live recordings plus four bonus studio tracks – So Tell Me Why, Souls On Fire Only Time Will Tell and No More Lookin’ Back [Poison Jazz]. Housed in a wide-spined picture sleeve. The sleeve has a slight sticker mark and a little light edgewear, whilst the vinyl shows only the lightest signs of play – a top copy of this 90’s rarity ESTU2159).
