Bob Dylan has announced a new album, Rough And Rowdy Ways. It’s the singer’s first album of original material since 2012’s Tempest.
Dylan has also released the third track to be taken from the album, False Prophet. It follows in the footsteps of the 17-minute Murder Most Foul, which was announced in late March, and the acoustic ballad I Contain Multitudes, which surfaced last month.
False Prophet both rocks and rolls more than the previous two singles, with Dylan singing, “I ain’t no false prophet,” over a scuzzy, lazy blues riff. “I just know what I know.”
Rough And Rowdy Ways is due on June 19, and will be released on double-CD, double vinyl and digital formats.
Earlier this year, the first details about a new Dylan biopic came to light. The film has the working title of Going Electric and will focus on the singer/songwriter’s controversial transition from folk to rock in the mid-60s.
Deadline reported that Dylan is involved with the project alongside Searchlight Pictures and director James Mangold, with talks with actor Timothée Chalamet about the lead role taking place.

BOB DYLAN Biograph (1985 UK Deluxe Edition 53-track FIVE LP box set, pressed in Holland for the UK market, including twenty one rare & unreleased recordings from 1961 to 1981, complete with a thirty-six page picture booklet with interview & notes by Bob & a twelve page booklet with notes on each song, all housed in a glossy 12½" square picture box. The packaging is in Excellent condition with some light scuffing on the front, some of the records look barley played where others exhibit signs of cosmetic or manufacturing imprefects - Side 3 displays two tiny manufacturing errors and side 9 shows a chemical reaction to pvc on this side only. The booklets are Near Mint with few signs of wear, overall a respectable example of this Dylan collectable CBS66509)

BOB DYLAN Blonde On Blonde (Rare 1966 UK 14-track 'rough' textured label MONO double LP The labels are printed with the 'Blonde On Blonde' above the 'Bob Dylan' text, and lists track two on the B-side on record one as 'Stuck Inside Of Mobile With Thee', also printed is DDP66012 which is also present with the matrices on the run-out. Housed in a front laminated internal flipback gatefold picture sleeve which has 9 black & white pictures inside and comes with the original CBS advertising paper inners. One of the inners has a split in the bottom seam, from lengthy record storage. The sleeve shows a little creasing, mainly around the edges & has some minor discolouring on the interior flipbacks. The vinyl remains in Very Good condition with a few surface marks which do not effect play. A very respectable play copy at an advantageous price) #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Housed in a single pocket picture sleeve with CBS Nice Price inners. The sleeve has some minor edgewear and creasing, whilst the vinyl looks seldom played)
