Memorabilia has always been a big part of the music world, going back right back to the advent of record shops. THE SMITHS Promotional Poster (Very rare official 1985 UK Rough Trade unfolded promotional poster, measuring a huge 38″ x 26″. Superb black & white shot of the band taken in Montmartre, Paris, the poster was used for promotion at the time of the Meat Is Murder album release in early 1985. The item has never been folded or displayed and has remained in storage for 32 years! This is only the second one we’ve ever seen and, needless to say, framed would look superb).
REM Fan Club Christmas Packs (Every Christmas since 1988 REM rewarded members of their official fan-club with special, exclusive singles packaged with a range of gifts including Christmas cards, calendars, stickers and coasters – unlike many bands REM really went the extra mile as these exclusive items testify. This extremely rare set comprises of ELEVEN of those packs dating from 1999-2010 [with 2001 the only one missing], each one is COMPLETE including mailers, and are inMINT condition [a couple of the mailers fasteners have spilt, that’s all]. A RARE opportunity to own all of these highly desirableitems!!)
KYLIE MINOGUE Shop Assistance (Autographed 1988 UK XL T-shirt used to promote the Terrence Higgins Trust charity event. This item was passed around backstage and has been signed on the back by Kylie Minogue, Jimmy Sommerville, Sylvester [Dr Who] McCoy, Sophie [Ace] Aldred, Bob [Blockbusters] Holness, Kate Adie, as well as several unidentified autographs from other performers and backstage staff. A wonderful item and a real one off!).
