SPRIGUNS Jack With A Feather (Very, very rare original 1975 UK 11-track vinyl LP pressed in tiny quantities on the cult Alida Star Recordings label, thin card picture sleeve which has been autographed by the band. This debut long playerhas attained legendary status in folk & psych circles with its blend of traditional instrumentation, electric guitar and bass and the haunting voice of singer/guitarist Mandy Morton. It’s a classic progressive folk album that transcends the genre, wonderful playing throughout with a distinct acid/wicker folk vibe on key tracks. This wonderful collector’s copy has been signed by the band in blue pen next to their respective images on the front (although we think Tom Ling signs the Chris Russon picture as Chris had left by the time the album was released), in the centre there is the unique dedication “To Martin wot is very good. Luv Spiggles”
THE ROLLING STONES Aftermath (Rare 1966 UK sixth label variant 14-track deep groove mono vinyl LP on the red unboxed Decca label, with ‘ffrr’ logo & the band members names printed below the title. Both the front laminated picture sleeve and vinyl are in excellent condition LK4786)
JETHRO TULL Aqualung 40th Anniversary Collector’s Edition (Rare 2011 UK/EU Super Deluxe edition multi-format box set [LP, 2-CD, DVD & Blu-Ray] – inside you get a heavyweight vinyl LP mastered to copper using the new stereo mix, a CD of the ‘New Aqualung Stereo Mix’ by Steven Wilson, a CD of ‘Additional 1970 & 1971 Recordings’, a DVD with surround sound mixes of the original album & 4 extra recordings, stereo and Quad mixes of the original album, and a Blu-Ray disc of the same plusa flat transfer 1971 stereo master. Finally, there’s a 48-page hardback book including Dom Lawson’s 2011 essay, unreleased interviews, memoirs, notes on the new mixes from Steven Wilson, lyrics, rare photos & much more. This comprehensive package is housed inside a textured slip-case box which remains factory sealed from new).
