This weeks pick is a very rare Test Pressing for the 1973 Japanese 12-track LP of Closing Time by Tom Waits.

This was Waits’ debut album at the tender age of 24, where he’d yet to develop his storytelling & deep gruff voice but nonetheless still managed to sound like a man that lived a thousand lives.

The first Toshiba pressing of this album was supposedly withdrawn making this super rare. The labels are plain white with just the catalogue number & promo stamp one side. Comes complete with the original plain card sleeve & label copy sheet.

The vinyl appears Excellent with some light foxing to the labels over time & very few signs of play.
