LIONEL HAMPTON Lionel Hampton (Very rare possibly unique 60s UK 45rpm 10″ double sided methyl cellulose lacquer acetate, featuring four Lionel tracks each side. Machine stamped both sides of the Emidisc studio label is the tracklist and artist name.The acetate would have been made for pre-production sonic review purposes, and is certainly one of less than a handful produced. The surface itself is in great condition with just a few light cosmetic marks in places to show for its age).
ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS A Night In Tunisia (1979 Japanese-only Direct Mastered 3-track audiophile LP, recorded that year at Victor Studio, Tokyo, with David Schnitter [tenor sax], Robert Watson [alto sax], Valery Ponomarev [trumpet],James Williams [piano] & Dennis Irwin [bass]. Comes housed in a unique picture sleeve complete with Japanese insert & picture obi-strip. The glossy sleeve shows minimal age wear & the vinyl is Near Mint with few signs of play RJD-4).
CHARLIE PARKER Bird Symbols (Original Japanese Union/Teichiku issue 12-track MONO vinyl LP – Includes the tracks Ornithology, Yardbird Suite and Moose The Mooche amongst other great compositions. Also features the talents of Miles Davis, ErrollGarner and Max Roach. The vinyl is in excellent condition, with just a few light paper scuffs with little or no impact on sound quality. Issued in a full picture sleeve with Japanese insert and obi-strip UPS-15).
