For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.
While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

PRINCE Diamonds & Pearls (1991 German pressed UK 13-track double vinyl LP recorded with The New Power Generation, including Gett Off, Cream and the classic title track, single-pocket picture sleeve complete with the illustrated lyric inners. The sleeve has only light edgewear, whilst the vinyl has just the odd paper scuff leaving it Excellent WX432).
GENESIS We Can’t Dance (Rare 1991 UK 12-track double LP, the group’s last studio album to feature Phil Collins, reaching No. 1 in the UK album charts, single pocket picture sleeve with illustrated lyric inners. The sleeve displays few signs of any wear & the vinyl appears Near Mint. A superb copy of this hard-to-find nineties pressing GENLP3).
KISS Revenge (Rare 1992 UK 12-track LP pressed on Black Vinyl. The sixteenth studio album from the American rock group and their first after the death of long-time drummer Eric Carr, who died in November 1991. Glossy picture sleeve withpicture/lyric inner and red/black/white Mercury labels. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl has just a few minor surface scuffs. A fabulous copy of this 90’s Kiss rarity).
