From Planetrock.
New Jersey rock behemoths Monster Magnet will perform their breakthrough 1998 album ‘Powertrip’ in full at three UK shows in early 2020.
The three-date trek opens at Glasgow Garage on Wednesday 22nd January before hitting Leeds O2 Academy (Thursday 23rd January) and London O2 Forum Kentish Town (Friday 24th January).
Alongside ‘Powertrip’ in its glorious entirety, Monster Magnet will be playing other tracks from their back catalogue.
24-hour presale tickets go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 9am on Thursday 10th October.
Commenting on the tour, vocalist/guitarist Dave Wyndorf says: “It’s time to celebrate POWERTRIP. Why? Because it ROCKS, that’s why.
Why are you asking questions? Get your tickets NOW! Devil horns, bitches!!!!”
Released in June 1998, Monster Magnet’s fourth studio album ‘Powertrip’ was the band’s commercial breakthrough and dented charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
The stoner rock opus spawned the colossal singles ‘Powertrip’, ‘See You In Hell’ and, of course, the masterful ‘Space Lord’.
