Here at eil.com we realise not everyone’s pockets are so deep they can stump up the readies for that uber-collectable slab of vinyl, CD boxset, vintage memorabilia etc. With that in mind, we’ve put together this new weekly ‘Top 3’ of some of the more affordable collectables that pass through our doors each week, and no item will be more than £50. Check out more bargains in our store now.
DEEP PURPLE The Mark II Purple Singles (1977 UK limited edition 7-track Purple Vinyl LP featuring Smoke On The Water, Black Night, Child In Time, Woman From Tokyo & more, fully laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows some light wear from storage & the vinyl is Excellent with minimal play TPS3514).
MILES DAVIS Bitches Brew (Classic & still controversial 1970 UK first issue plain orange label 6-track double LP, featuring recordings whose very sound, production methods, album-cover art, & two-LP length all signalled that jazz could never be the same again, gatefold matte sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little scuffing to the edges with nothing to affect the wonderful image, whilst the vinyl has light cosmetic marks & hairlines leaving it VG – a nice copy of this original at a nice price!).
AC/DC For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) (1982 UK 12″ vinyl single, including the 11:30 full length version of Let There Be Rock recorded live in December 1981, picture sleeve with UK tour dates on reverse. The sleeve displays some light general wear whilst the vinyl remains Excellent with only a few light signs of play K11721T).
