JUNIOR BYLES Beat Down Babylon – 1972 UK 10-track LP on Trojan, written & produced by he-who-must-be-praised Lee Perry, socially conscious tracks as exemplified by the fantastic title track, front laminated picture sleeve. This is a nice one owner copy. The sleeve & vinyl are Excellent to Near Mint with few signs of wear & play. Recommended.
SLIM SMITH Born To Love – 1960s Jamaican 10-track vinyl LP on the ‘ridged’ black & white Studio One label, bouncy Rocksteady grooves with a Ska flavour, wonderfully designed picture sleeve which is screenprinted onto card originally intended for Coffee packaging – almost a piece of folk art in itself! The sleeve shows light wear with a little discolouration in places & no seam splits, tears or writing, whilst the vinyl has light scuffs leaving it Very Good – a stunning Jamaican jewel.
JUDAH ESKENDER “TA FA RI” Danger In Your Eyes – 1970s Jamaican wide-centre 7″ vinyl single, a stone Roots classic backed with Dub Style Version by Sound Dimension, plain die-cut sleeve. The labels are free from writing or paper loss and the vinyl is Excellent with very little sign of play – an essential!
