Germs’ recording sessions for the Cruising soundtrack finally coming to vinyl

The soundtrack to William Friedkin’s Cruising is finally getting a release on vinyl, and it will feature recording session from L.A punk icons, Germs.

The session was due to be used on the soundtrack at the time of release but was ultimately shelved. Thanks to Waxwork Records it is finally seeing the light of day on this extended reissue. As well as the session, he 3LP release will include the original score by Jack Nitzsche, as well as other tracks featured in the movie by The Cripples, Willy DeVille, Mutiny and more.
