Roxy Music to reissue debut album for 45th anniversary

With their self-titled debut album celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, Roxy Music are planning a reissue of the 1972 album in the new year.

It is due for release on February 2, and will be available as a 3CD/DVD super deluxe edition, along with 136 page booklet. As well as a remastered version of the album, it will include alternate versions and demos of every track on Roxy Music, along with BBC performances and Peels Sessions.

The DVD portion will include a 5.1 Surround Sound remix by Porcupine Tree genius, Steven Wilson, along with a number of live performances from the era.

  1. It might have been more accurate to have a photograph including the album’s bass player Graham Simpson, as opposed to a later replacement Rik Kenton (far right), who had also replaced Peter Paul.
