Mavis Staples shares new protest song, Build a Bridge

Soul legend Mavis Staples has unveiled a new, heartfelt protest song, Build a Bridge.

The track is taken from her forthcoming album, If All I Was Was Black Is released on November 17th via Anti Records, and is a collaborative release with Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. It is her third record with Tweedy, the last of which being One True Vine in 2013.
