Vic Lewiss – Vic Lewis & His Allstars At The Beaulieu Festival One-off test pressing for the 1964 UK 10-track mono live LP, with custom red & yellow rough studio labels annotated side one with the artist, title & catalogue details & the proposed ‘July 1 1964’ release date. Includes a number of Tony Crombie compositions plus selections from the Springbok & American suites starring Kenny Wheeler. Also stars Dick McPherson, Jimmy Deuchar, Les Condon, Gordon Turnbull, Keith Christie, Roy East, Vic Ash, Art Ellefson, Ronnie Ross, Terry Shannon, Arthur Watts & Allan Ganley. The vinyl is near mint & comes direct from the late bandleader’s own vast & personal collection.

Jackie Mclean – Tippin’ The Scales: Rare & deleted limited edition 1979 Japanese-only 6-track stereo LP, manufactured exclusively by King Records in the ‘World First Appearance’ series. Contains a <b>previously unreleased session</b> recorded with Sonny Clark, Butch Warren and Art Taylor in 1962. Comes in a pasted picture sleeve with Japanese insert and ‘Blue Note’ logo obi-strip. This copy is in immaculate condition.

Bill Evans – The Complete Riverside Recordings: Limited Edition 1985 Japanese 18-LP vinyl box set. All the classic albums are here & then some; New Jazz Conceptions, Everybody Digs, Waltz For Debby, Explorations… going right up to the final performances for Riverside, at Shelly’s Manne-Hole. Includes twenty-four performances that had been previously unissued at the time. Comes housed in a hefty deluxe textured slipcase with gold embossed lettering & Japanese/’sessionography’ booklets containing rare photos & original album artwork. The obi-strip has foxing with age but otherwise remains fully intact & the packaging shows just light signs of its origins. Each vinyl disc remains near ‘as new’.
