Beach Boys – Pet Sounds: Rare 1966 UK first issue 13-track rainbow rim label mono LP. The label design features the Capitol logo on the left side with ‘Sold In The U.K.’ text above, housed in a front laminated flipback picture sleeve printed & manufactured by Gerrard & Lofthouse with ‘Patents pending’ text. The cover retains rich colours & secure flipbacks with no tears or writing. There is some mild creasing in the laminate from faint ring wear & otherwise just a spot of mild discolouring on the back. The vinyl is a nice & clean VG/VG+ with just some mild spindle marks. The whole record plays through beautifully & the album’s “masterpiece” status is simply unquestionable.
Guns N Roses – In Person: Rare Autographed 1989 US A4 size illustrated 32 page softback book, featuring complete lyrics to all songs from Appetite For Destruction and G N’R Lies, plus an interview with Axl originally published in ‘RIP’ magazine, an article on the band from ‘Guitar For The Practicing Musician’ magazine and a full colour fold-out poster on the inside back cover. This example has a sticker on the front stating ‘Cherry Lane 12.7.89. Promo Book U.S.A.’, whilst the poster still attached at the back has been signed by Izzy, Axl, Duff and Slash in a black pen, Slash in a ballpoint pen at the bottom.
ABBA – Slipping Through My Fingers: Legendary 1980 Japanese first pressing 11-track promotional Red picture disc LP issued by the Coca-Cola company. This rare first issue includes the 42 seconds of uncensored dialogue in the Medley recording which was removed from the later issue, unique custom picture sleeve with fold-out Japanese lyric insert. The sleeve displays only a little light general wear with a small nick to the open edge, whilst the disc shows little signs of play. This is anow a hard to find issue and is very difficult to obtain in any condition!
