BYZANTIUM Seasons Changing Ridiculously rare test pressing for the 1972 UK 8-track LP, a never before seen Prog Psych effort from a British band that helped launch the careers of Chaz Jankel [Ian Dury & The Blockheads] & Shane Fontayne[Bruce Springsteen]. The labels are custom plain white with hand annotated artist/side details plus ‘Porky Prime Cut’ etchings [‘Far Out’ & ‘Solid’] & catalogue/matrices in the run-outs. He was on the cusp of perfecting ‘Ziggy’ and flitting between acoustic and electric sounds. This track defines his brief flirtation with the blues-rock genre.
