WAYNE SHORTER Night Dreamer (Limited Edition 2010 US 6-track stereo double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters’ ‘Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue’ series, originally released in 1964. This his Shorter’s debut solo album for Blue Note, expertly backed by Lee Morgan, McCoy Tyner, Reginald Workman & Elvin Jones. Comes housed in the highest quality gatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. The sleeve appears Near Mint & the vinyl discs are Excellent; the first vinyl disc is Near Mint & the second vinyl disc grades Excellent purely due to a few minor pressing marks in the side three run-in groove in no way affecting play MMBST-84173).
DUKE ELLINGTON The Best Of Duke Ellington (70s German only 9-track LP, superb laminated picture sleeve with all sleeve notes in German. The sleeve shows some laminate lift/creasing along the spine and some age yellowing to the back, the vinyl looks barely played PD12007).
COLEMAN HAWKINS The High And Mighty Hawk (1959 UK 6-track deep groove mono LP on a pink Vocalion label, pressed by Decca, lovely fully laminated flipback sleeve with different artwork to the Felsted issue, with album notes by producer StanleyDance. The flimsy sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play LAE585).
