Here at eil.com we realise not everyone’s pockets are so deep they can stump up the readies for that uber-collectable slab of vinyl, CD boxset, vintage memorabilia etc. With that in mind, we’ve put together this new weekly ‘Top 3’ of some of the more affordable collectables that pass through our doors each week, and no item will be more than £50. Check out more bargains in our store now.
Nick Cave – The Firstborn Is Dead: 1985 UK 7-track vinyl LP, the classic second album from Cave with the Bad Seeds [the definitive line up of Blixa, Barry Adamson & Mick Harvey] which sees the Godfather of Goth paying homage to Elvis as only he can, picture sleeve with the credits inner. There is a little age yellowing / discolouration to the picture sleeve and inner evident however, the vinyl remains in barely played condition. £25
Siouxsie & The Banshees – Nocturne: 1983 UK 16-track double vinyl LP featuring The Cure’s Robert Smith on guitar, recorded at the Royal Albert Hall on 30th September and 1st October 1983, housed in the glossy gatefold picture sleeve complete with the blue & pink inners and the flyer for the video release. The sleeve shows just a little edge scuffing and both vinyl discs appear in barely played condition £30
Roxy Music – Country Life: 1974 UK 10-track vinyl LP on the pink rim ‘palm tree’ label, housed in the fully laminated picture sleeve with lyric inner. The sleeve shows a little shelfwear however, the vinyl grades EX/EX- with a few light signs of play £25
