“Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour, step right this way”
Hot footing into eil Towers this week is this incredible collection of all things Beatles. Acquired from a life-long record hound the collection leaves no Beatles stone unturned, with some top ‘60s rarities from the fab four which have got all of us a little hot under the collar. Look out for a very early Please Please Me on the black & gold Parlophone label, a U.S. promo only Apple album that collected all the Beatles ‘60s fan club flexi-discs onto one handy LP, early 7” EPs, foreign pressed goodies and more.
The ‘mystery tour’ doesn’t stop there though, all of the Beatles solo careers are present and correct, from a complete 1st press John Lennon ‘Imagine’ LP with all the inserts, seldom seen Ringo and George Harrison LPs and 7” singles with some wonderful foreign picture sleeve variants too. Thankfully the collection doesn’t stop at some point in the late ‘70s – instead it includes many of the ‘90s and noughties Paul McCartney solo LPs that are now very, very hard to find, add in super limited Record Store Day releases, boxsets and more and…..well, let’s just say “a splendid time is guaranteed for all”.
