BILL EVANS The Complete Riverside Recordings: Limited Edition 1985 Japanese 18-LP vinyl box set. All the classic albums are here & then some, New Jazz Conceptions, Everybody Digs, Waltz For Debby, Explorations… going right up to the final performances for Riverside, at Shelly’s Manne-Hole. Includes twenty-four performances that had been previously unissued at the time. Comes housed in a hefty deluxe textured slipcase with gold embossed lettering & Japanese/’sessionography’ booklets containing rare photos & original album artwork. The obi-strip has foxing with age but otherwise remains fully intact & the packaging shows just light signs of its origins. Each vinyl disc remains near ‘as new, more info here
THELONIOUS MONK 1963 In Japan: 1983 Japanese 5-track mono vinyl LP, recorded live at TBS-TV Studios, Tokyo on May 23rd 1963 with Charlie Rouse, Butch Warren & Frankie Dunlop on tenor sax, bass & drums, respectively, picture sleeve complete with Japanese insert & obi-strip. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl looks barely played, more info here
WILLIE ‘THE LION’ SMITH Willie “The Lion” Smith: Sealed 1972 US 12-track LP, pasted picture sleeve. The cover shows merely a light corner crease & just a few tiny paper splits in the spine but otherwise it has remained factory sealed for forty-four years, the vinyl still mint & unplayed, more info here
