Memorabilia has always been a big part of the music world, going back right back to the advent of record shops. Whether it was promotional only material that was distributed by labels, or weird and wonder items manufactured by the bands or labels for general sale, they make for nice collector’s pieces and can really finish off a collection.
We see all kind of memorabilia pass through our hands and below are just a few of the highlights that we have in stock at eil.com
THE JAM Beat Surrender ’82 (Rare original 1982 UK 34″ x 24″ promotional-only poster for the bands last ever UK tour, printed by the ‘Hastings Printing Company’. This superb poster features large pink lettering with black & white graphics above UK tour dates for November / December 1982 – A stunning piece of punk / new wave / mod / Paul Weller history!)
MADONNA Dick Tracy View-Master 3D (1990 US Tyco toy for the pre-internet generation, when the only way to relive your favourite movie scenes was via the medium of the View-Master, includes 3 reels containing 21 3-D pictures from the movie. This example is still in its box from new with great retro artwork on it)
MICHAEL JACKSON Dirty Diana (1988 UK Epic shaped cardboard counter display stand featuring a 12″ full-length colour picture of Michael wearing an unbuttoned white shirt and black trousers with straps down the sides. This displays has been neatly folded in half with no real signs of age. A great item for the ultimate MJ collector!)
