While music was more popular during the 90’s than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes almost obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

ST ETIENNE Too Young To Die: Singles 1990-1995 (Scarce original 1995 UK 14-track vinyl compilation LP released on the legendary Creation Records label, including Only Love Can Break Your Heart, Kiss And Make Up and more. This is only the second copy we’ve had but is also the first we’ve seen in FIFTEEN years. The glossy picture sleeve has minimal wear but comes complete with the picture / credit inner and the vinyl remains in barely played condition! HVNLP10).
BJÖRK Homogenic (Original 1997 UK One Little Indian label 10-track LP pressed on heavyweight vinyl, includes the singles All Is Full Of Love, Bachelorette and Hunter, picture sleeve with lyric inner. The sleeve shows some light wear (obvious indentation to front edgewear) and the vinyl has a few light cosmetic surface scuffs – overall an excellent example TPLP71)
BRYAN FERRY Mamouna (Scarce 1994 UK 10-track vinyl LP, including Your Painted Smile, picture sleeve with glossy picture/lyric inner. The sleeve has only minor edge and spine scuffing, whilst the vinyl remains in wonderful condition with just afew paperscuffs. A very nice and rare album V2751).
