ERIC CLAPTON Six-String Stories – The Crossroads Guitars (2013 UK limited deluxe edition Genesis Publications 376-page book. Beginning with his blues roots and early days, and chronicling his entire career via the tools of his trade: his guitars. All told through Clapton’s own words with detailed background information for each instrument and archival photography spanning five decades. Hand-crafted in Italy, the book was inspired by the images and stories contained within. The wooden cover is imprinted with the silhouettes of different instruments and varnished to match Clapton’s signature model Martin guitars. Quarter bound with a black leather spine with gilt foiled page edging. The title is silk-screened onto a buckram-covered solander box in the iconic style of the ‘Cream’ and ‘Derek and The Dominos’ stencils [as seen on Clapton’s early guitar cases]. Inside, a black felt lining protects the book, along with Christmas cards from the crew involved and to let the owner know the book is in the process of being made. Deluxe copies are numbered 1 to 350 and signed by Eric Clapton, this is numbered 156. Exclusive to the Deluxe box set, a hand-drawn sketch by Eric is reproduced as a fine art print with matching number and embossed with Eric’s signature. NICK DRAKE Remembered For A While – Signature Box Edition (Superb 2014 UK limited edition box set containing an individually numbered hardback copy of the 448 page book that has been AUTOGRAPHED by both Gabrielle Drake & Cally Callomon,quarter-bound in cloth with a printed acetate cover, a portfolio containing three photographs of Nick taken by Julian Lloyd in 1967 with an authentication certificate signed by Julian Lloyd in pencil, an exclusive 10″ vinyl EP of an unreleasedrecording of five tracks from a 1969 BBC John Peel session, all housed in a high quality cloth bound box with original card mailer)
