While music was more popular during the 90’s than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes almost obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock and be sure to keep an eye on the latest arrivals at eil.com.

ASH 1977 (Rare 1996 UK 12-track vinyl LP – first official album by Ash, including the singles Girl From Mars, Kung Fu, Goldfinger & Angel Interceptor. Housed in a gatefold picture sleeve [with an internal pocket] retaining its original song hype-sticker on the front with illustrated credits inner. The sleeve shows only minor wear to the opening edge and the vinyl has just the odd cosmetic surface scuff. A top copy of this debut album by the Northern Irish rock band INFECT40LP).

U2 Achtung Baby (1991 UK first press 12-track LP, the seventh studio album including The Fly & Mysterious Ways, housed in the original uncensored picture sleeve which shows a naked Adam Clayton image on the back. Includes both the illustrated credits inner & lyric insert. The packaging is Excellent with minimal wear, the vinyl is clean & grades Excellent with just a few faint paper hairlines & marks not affecting play U28)

BLACK CROWES Amorica (Rare 1994 UK limited edition 12-track LP pressed on White Vinyl in Germany for the UK market, including bonus track Tied Up And Swallowed, complete with illustrated lyric inner, controversal picture sleeve with artist/title hype sticker. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains in near ‘as new’ condition).
