The advent of CD’s seemed like the death knell for vinyl during the ‘90s. That was only made worse by file sharing becoming popular as the decade came to a close and edged into the early ‘00s. We now know that vinyl would have an unprecedented resurgence in later years, which has led to collectors desperately seeking out original pressings from the ‘90s. Those rare Creation records pressings that shaped alternative music as we know it today, the rare pressings of iconic grunge records that are white whales for many, and weird and wonderful electronic music are always popular with completists.

QUICKSAND Manic Compression (Rare original 1995 US 12-track vinyl LP, with picture sleeve and lyric insert. Second album from the highly influential post-hardcore band, which includes the tracks Thorn In My Side, Divorce, Landmine Spring and more. Aside from the vinyl displaying a handful of paper scuffs, this copy has little evidence of play and the sleeve is near mint. This is first time we have ever seen this LP here, and is hard to find in any condition now. A ’90s classic that deserves a place in any alternative collection).
MORRISSEY Bona Drag (1990 UK 14-track vinyl compilation LP, housed in the original song hype-stickered picture sleeve complete with illustrated lyric inner. The sleeve shows a little shelfwear whilst the vinyl shows only light signs of play (light hairline to Side 2). Overall an excellent example CLP3788).
FISH Internal Exile (1991 UK 8-track LP, with explores Celtic music & folk styles, picture sleeve with illustrated lyric inner. Both the sleeve & vinyl are in near mint condition).
