Autographed collectables at eil.com, this week include Status Quo, Gary Numan, Emeli Sande & more

What is an autograph?

From Wikipedia, an autograph is a person’s own handwriting or signature. The word autograph comes from Ancient Greek (αὐτός, autós, “self” and γράφω, gráphō, “write”), and can mean more specifically a manuscript written by the author of its content, or a celebrity’s handwritten signature.

Here at eil.com & 991.com we pride ourselves on being able to find the finest signed collectables available. From Iron Maiden to John Lennon, Elvis Costello, Freddie Mercury and Madonna, we have an amazing selection of 100% fully authenticated signed items, all of which come complete with a certificate of authenticity.

We have something for everyone, please check our specialist Autograph collectors store.

Obtained from an avid Quo fan who followed the group on their UK tours each year, the front cover is fully signed by the album’s original line-up of Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster & John Coghlan in blue biro. All four signatures are clear & unhurried, beautifully offset against the optical illusion artwork depicting the legendary Quo in an Ames room in full colour. These genuinely rare complete set of period signatures remain unfaded & clearly legible & each autograph sits next to the image of each band member. It’s very hard to find a collector’s piece as good as this now, with both Rick & Alan sadly no longer with us. The cover is clean & in Excellent condition with minimal edge wear, the vinyl too is nice & clean & appears barely played. Highly recommended & fully deserving of framing, this is a strong & unique blue chip item representing top level Quo at their peak).
