Every era of music has its traits, tropes, and fashion that helps definite it, and the ‘90s were no exception. The grunge, hip hop, dance, pop, indie and alternative scenes all had their own unique styles during this time, many of which are still prevalent in pop culture today. The music from ‘90s will live forever but tracking down original vinyl pressings is no easy feat, but it happens.
It would take an age to list everything here that we have in stock from the ‘90s, but you can see some highlights below and find the rest of our catalogue at eil.com.
PAUL WELLER Paul Weller (Out of print 1992 UK 12-track LP, including ‘Into Tomorrow’, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve with integral 8-page illustrated lyric booklet. The sleeve has just a few light storage marks and the vinyl has a few lightpaper scuffs – overall an excellent copy offered at an advantageous price).
RUNRIG Transmitting Live (Rare 1994 UK 12-track vinyl LP, recorded live in Scotland and Germany between 1993-94, housed in a glossy gatefold picture sleeve with illustrated inner. The sleeve displays some light signs of storage wear but has no splits or rips, whilst the vinyl looks barely played with no spindle marks to the labels. A nice example of this hard to find 90s vinyl pressing CHR6090).
FLAMING LIPS Transmissions From The Satellite (Rare and long deleted 1993 US 11-track ORANGE VINYL LP, featuring the singles Turn It On and She Don’t Use Jelly, with picture sleeve. A classic nigh on 20 year old release and now very hard to find!).
