Your weekly best of premium collectable ideas including Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Jethro Tull and more

Certain records you have been searching for only come around once in a blue moon, and we do our best to try and help you with that by securing the best premium, high end stock around. Some of the titles we see regularly, but now and then you may just find the white whale you have desperately been searching for.

We’ve highlighted three of our latest premium arrivals below, and you can find the rest of our wonderful titles over at eil.com.

ROLLING STONES Sticky Fingers (Rare 1971 UK issue 10-track LP, with ‘Rolling Stones Records’ etched into the run-out and has ‘A PROMOTONE N.V. RECORD’ on the labels, housed in the first issue top-opening & fully working bronze finish ‘zipper’ sleeve designed by Andy Warhol, clearly with ‘Printed in Germany’ at the bottom of the spine, complete with illustrated/tongue logo insert. This copy has the withdrawn large front zipper, engraved with the elusive ‘PAN’, swiftly replaced with smaller zips for all subsequent pressings. The sleeve has a small tear, a little paper loss and creasing along the top edge, plus a little general storage wear. The insert shows little of its age and the vinyl has a few minor surface scuffs but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. An excellent example of this Stones rarity. One for the completist! COC59100).

The Beatles Let It Be - Box Set + Poster Vinyl Box Set UK BTLVXLE592012

THE BEATLES Let It Be (Incredibly rare 1970 UK 12-track LP box set also including the 160-page softback photo book ‘The Beatles Get Back’, packed with colour/B&W photos & text from the film, which was never sold separately, all housed in a superb laminated outer Garrod & Lofthouse picture slipcase box with ‘Patents Pending’ lettering. This copy is complete with the rare ‘These Fine Albums’ Apple Catalogue poster PXS1)

Jethro Tull Roots To Branches - EX 2-LP vinyl record set (Double LP Album) UK TUL2LRO651314

JETHRO TULL Roots To Branches (Rare original 1995 UK 11-track double vinyl LP – This final Tull album released released through their long-time label Chrysalis carries characteristics of their classic 1970s progressive rock and folk rock roots alongside jazz and Arabic and Indian influences. Now hard to find, the glossy gatefold picture sleeve [with the lyrics printed across the inside] remains in EX condition with just a little light creasing showing signs of shelfwear & age while the two vinyl discs look barely played).
