STEVEN WILSON Insurgentes (Rare 2008 UK limited edition three-disc set featuring the the amazing recordings of Steven Wilson’s debut solo album pressed on both CD and DVD-Audio [in both 24bit/48 khz wav and DTS 5.1 surround formats] plus a Bonus CD including four tracks recorded during the same sessions but didn’t make the final cut. All three discs are housed within the stunning embossed hardback style cloth cover book designed by Carl Glover, containing a wonderful array of photographs captured by Lasse Hoile and Susana Moyaho during Wilson’s globetrotting whilst making the album and shooting on location for the documentary. A must have for any Steve Wilson or Purcupine Tree fan! HDSWCD18).
FLYING BURRITO BROTHERS Burrito Deluxe (Rare 1970 UK 11-track white labels viny LP test pressing, the second studio album from the legendary country outfit led by Gram Parsons, housed in a fully laminated picture sleeve. This has A1/B1 stampedmatrices, with plain white labels with just the catalogue number written. These were pressed in tiny numbers purely to test the sonics & never intended for sale to the public. The sleeve displays some mild general wear with some laminate lift, the labels have a few spindle marks and the vinyl remains Excellent with only light signs of play AMLS983).
THE DOORS Super Deluxe (Rare 1973 Japanese-only 14-track LP on the blue Elektra ‘guitar man’ label, housed in a deluxe & unique gold embossed gatefold picture sleeve with integral picture/ lyric booklet & the original gold ‘star’ obi-strip. The packaging is Excellent with some minor age wear, remaining a fantastic example. The vinyl has a deep sheen both sides & shows just the lightest few signs of play. Recommended SWX-10022).
