Latest rare and collectable ’90s vinyl in stock, including Paul Weller, Bob Dylan, Portishead and more

While music was more popular during the 90’s than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes almost obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock and be sure to keep an eye on the latest arrivals at eil.com.

Paul Weller Stanley Road + Booklet vinyl LP album (LP record) UK WELLPST304357
PAUL WELLER Stanley Road (1995 UK limited edition 12-track vinyl LP featuring The Changingman, You Do Something To Me and Broken Stones, gatefold picture sleeve and complete with lyric / picture inner and rare bonus 16-page ‘Excerpts’ booklet. This copy remains in near as new condition).

Bob Dylan Live 1966 (The "Royal Albert Hall" Concert Electric) vinyl LP album (LP record) US DYLLPLI789600

BOB DYLAN Another Side Of Bob Dylan (1998 US limited edition 8-track vinyl LP, a reissue of the second part of the Volume 4 release from his ‘Official Bootleg Series’. This performanced was recorded at Manchester’s Free Trade Hall during his world tour in 1966 [though early bootlegs attributed the recording to the Royal Albert Hall so it became known as the Royal Albert Hall Concert] and sees him accompanied by The Hawks [aka The Band]. The picture sleeve has minimal evidence of shelfwear but comes with the poly-lined inner and the vinyl looks barely played).

Portishead Dummy - 1st - VG vinyl LP album (LP record) UK PSHLPDU789522
PORTISHEAD Dummy (Debut 1994 UK 10-track LP, one of the greatest albums of the nineties, with dark hip-hop inspired loops, British spy thriller samples & gripping songwriting, this influential album still sounds fresh today. Includes the classic singles Numb, Sour Box & Glory Box, picture sleeve with illustrated credits inner. The sleeve shows some minor wear from storage and aside from a handful of inaudible hairline surface scuffs and spindle marks to the labels, the vinyl remains in lovely condition making this an essential play copy of a timeless classic).
