Here are some of the latest highlights to arrive here, and the full range can be seen at eil.com.
FAIRPORT CONVENTION Unhalfbricking (Early 70s UK pink rim ‘palm tree’ label issue of the 1969 8-track stereo LP, picture sleeve capturing Sandy Denny’s parents, Neil & Edna, standing outside their family home in Wimbledon, South London. Sandy’s omens are writ large here as her folks would sadly go on to outlive their daughter & even their son [drummer Martin Lamble also sits in front of Sandy in the picture, who sadly died within weeks of the photo being taken]. The sleeve shows justlight shelfwear with a bit of edge scuffing & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play ILPS9102).
MOTHERS Just Another Band From LA (Late 70s UK issue of the 1972 5-track LP, on the tan steamboat label with ‘W’ logos at the end of the perimeter text. This album was recorded live on August 7th 1971 at the Pauley Pavillion in Los Angeles with the Flo & Eddie band. Along with the epic ‘Billy The Mountain’, you also get a picture of illustrator supreme, Cal Schenkel, collapsed at his desk inside the glossy gatefold sleeve. The sleeve shows light shelfwear & the vinyl appears barely played K44179).
SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES Ju-Ju (Mid 1980s issue of the 1981 9-track vinyl LP – their fourth release, featuring John McGeoch on guitar and including Spellbound and Arabian Knights. Housed in a glossy picture sleeve. The sleeve has some light edgewear, whilst the vinyl looks barely played POLD5155).
