This Deluxe Edition box set is comprised of the original album remastered at Abbey Road Studios,32 bonusaudio tracks including unheard home recordings and demos, alternative studio recordings, rough mixes and B-sides including selections from Oobu Joobu parts 1-6, Flaming Pie At The Mill CD (Paul’s hour-long tour of his studio), video content including the InThe World Tonight documentary, original music videos, EPKs, interviews, performances and behind-the-scenes material, a 128-page book containing previously unpublished images by Linda McCartney, expanded album artwork from the archives and the story behind the album written by Chris Heath – including track-by-track information, recipes and new interviews with Paul, Ringo Starr, Jeff Lynne, Steve Miller and key album personnel, studio notes, handwritten lyrics, the 1997 Flaming Pie issue of Club Sandwich, the official newspaper of the Paul McCartney Fanclub plus downloadable 24bit 96kHz HD audio. This comprehensive set comrpsies 15 records, each pressed on 180-gram vinyl,and includes seven studio albums, three live albums, singles and B-sides, plus a 52-page hardback book loaded with photos, liner notes & memorabilia. Housed inside a sturdy slipcase box with metallic silver debossed titles, hype sticker & factorysealed, still within its original outer card box with protective foam inserts. An absolute gem and highly recommended!).
BEE GEES/ JACK BRUCE/ ERIC CLAPTON/ BLIND FAITH Battle Of The Bee Gees & Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton, Blind Faith (Rare 1971 Japanese-only 26-track double LP box set, featuring fourteen tracks by The Bee Gees on one disc with the other dedicatedto Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton & Blind Faith [four tracks from each], a unique coupling of artists. The LPs are housed in a unique 12″ circular metal tin printed with images of the artists & a full tracklist on the back, complete with circular 12-page colour lyric booklet. The packaging grades Very Good with the usual tarnishing & areas of rust with a few scratch marks & minor creases to the booklet, the original foam liner still intact. The vinyl is clean & grades VG+/EX- with some light foxing to the labels & a few minor paper hairlines not affecting play MP9377/78).
