From Wikipedia, an autograph is a person’s own handwriting or signature. The word autograph comes from Ancient Greek (αὐτός, autós, “self” and γράφω, gráphō, “write”), and can mean more specifically a manuscript written by the author of its content, or a celebrity’s handwritten signature.

ELTON JOHN 1978 West Ham United Football Programme – Rare original UK 20-page football programme, for the 7th January 1978 FA Cup Third Round match against Watford, measuring 7″ x 5″ in size. Featuring all the details about the teams playing and lots more. I hear you saying, so what has this to do with Sir Elton John? Well, Elton was in the crowd watching his beloved Watford losing 1-0 to the Hammers, and the previous owner managed to get Elton, who must have been very disappointed, to sign the front cover in a black ball point pen. A very unusually and unique item for any fan’s collection.
