If you were still buying vinyl in the ‘90s, you probably didn’t think that one day albums by Oasis, My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and countless others would be worth far more than you paid for them. While a lot of iconic albums from that time have seen high quality reissues, there’s no substitute for finding original pressings from the era. It’s not that sort of things that comes through doors every day here at eil.com, and when they do, they don’t stay for long.
The three titles below are just a taste of the ‘90s rarities we have in stock, and you can find the full catalogue at eil.com
AFI Black Sails In the Sunset (Rare 1999 US 14-track LP, with picture sleeve and lyric insert, pressed on Purple Marble Vinyl. Classic fourth album from the Bay Area goth-punks, featuring frantic tracks such as Porphyria Cutanea Tarda and Malleus Maleficarum, as well as the haunting God Called In Sick Today. The sleeve shows some minor wear from storage, while the vinyl itself displays little evidence of play. Essential to any punk rock collection).
BLUR Leisure (Rare 1991 UK 12-track vinyl LP, their debut album including the singles She’s So High, Bang and the smash hit There’s No Other Way. The label to the record incorrectly states that it plays at 45 RPM. The glossy picture sleeve comes complete with the lyric inner, both of which show just light evidence of shelfwear to the edges, while the vinyl appears in excellent condition with just minor signs of play FOODLP6).
MORRISSEY Kill Uncle (Rare 1991 UK HMV 10-track vinyl LP – a great copy of Morrissey’s second solo studio album, including Our Frank and Sing Your Life, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics printed on the inside. The sleeve has only minor edgewear and the vinyl is in wonderful near mint condition CSD3789).
