Early Pentangle albums get deluxe heavyweight vinyl reissues

PENTANGLE Cruel Sister (1970 UK first press 5-track stereo LP on the purple & white 'globe' label, including the eighteen minute long Jack Orion, housed in a terrific gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics printed inside. The cover [VG+] reveals some light scuffing a few faint crease marks, with a medium seam split to bottom edge; there is a sticker mark to one label & the vinyl is nice & clean & in Excellent condition with little play TRA228)

THE PENTANGLE Sweet Child (What's to say about Pentangle ? John Renbourn, Bert Jansch, Jacqui McShee, Danny Thompson & Terry Cox - all on an original 1968 UK 22-track double LP with two live sides recorded at the Festival Hall on 29th June 1968 & two studio sides. The label is the first purple & white variety with the globe design in the middle & the record comes housed in a great front laminated internal flipback gatefold picture sleeve with notes by Melody Maker's Tony Wilson. The sleeve has a little creasing to the laminate around the edges; the vinyl has a few light surface/cosmetic scuffs and one hairline on side D, having little impact on play. PENTANGLE The Pentangle (Debut 1968 UK first issue 8-track stereo LP with purple & white 'globe' label both sides, a classic British folk record, housed in a fully laminated picture sleeve with the 'floating' style laminate & printed with album notes from an enthusiastic John Peel on the back. The cover is still a nice off white on the front with a little lift to the laminate along the spine. The vinyl is a clean VG+ example, with merely a few faint paper hairline scuffs to identify play TRA162)
