CLIFF RICHARD Cliff Sings – Autographed 1959 UK first issue 16-track mono LP on the green & gold Columbia label, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. This copy has been signed on the reverse by Cliff in felt pen and dedicated ‘To Rita sincerely’ in a wonderful, unhurried manner. The sleeve has been tape reinforced at the opening edge and whilst the tape has gone, it has left a band of discolouration to both the front and the reverse, otherwise there are few signs of age; the vinyl has light scuffs and is graded as VG+ – a nice early Cliff collectable.
JO-ANN KELLY & TONY MCPHEE Same Thing On Their Minds – Autographed 1972 UK first press 12-track LP on the orange & brown Sunset label, a British Blues-Folk stormer including ‘Rock Me’ with backing from The Groundhogs! The textured picture sleeve is in rough condition & has seen better days, with scuffs & creases & splits here & there, but is signed by Tony McPhee on the front next to his respective image. What’s more, we have sourced Near Mint condition vinyl for this title to accompany the sleeve, making for a fine collectable!
STREETWALKERS I’m Walking – Complete Streetwalkers 1974-1977 – 2016 UK limited edition 124-track 15-CD box set, featuring the band’s complete output, with the studio albums BBC sessions, live recordings of The De Montford, Rainbow Theatre, Charlton, Toronto, Lincoln, Hemel Hempstead, Ipswich, Manchester & Newcastle concerts and CD replicas of the band’s two singles housed in die-cut sleeves, with four picture mats, replica tour programme, set of skin transfers and fold-out reproduction of the publicity poster for Red Card. Also included is a 92-page hardback book crammed full of biography, photograph, reprints of press cuttings from the day and more; all topped of with a reproduction of the UK and US artwork for Red Card which has been signed by Bobby Tench and Roger Chapman – what a set! To give it a little extra we’ve also included a 5-track CD promo sampler for the set to really make it complete.
GILLIAN + PETER Anna + Peter Swing Project 1 – 2010 UK limited edition self released 2-track 12″ vinyl single from Gillian & Stephen [New Order] complete with the Bonus 6-track CD including the Original Version and an accompanying remixof Swing Robot, Swing Low and Swing Inside, with the music having originally been conceived and written as a soundtrack to Anna Blessman & Peter Saville’s exhibition between October 2010 – January 2011 at the Galerie Frac Champagne-Ardenne inFrance. The hype-stickered titled sleeve has a small seam split evident to the top edge but this is one of the limited number of copies to have been AUTOGRAPHED by both Gillian & Stephen in blue marker pen on the front and the vinyl looks barely played.
JETHRO TULL The Ballad of Jethro Tull – Rare 2019 UK advance issue of the limited signed edition 224-page hardback book. The first official, illustrated, oral history of the prog rock legends, illustrated throughout with previously unseen, personal and classic photographs and memorabilia. Tull’s story is told by Ian Anderson, band members past and present, and the people who helped them to become one of the most successful bands in rock history. This edition includes a vinyl 7″ record of’The Ballad of Jethro Tull’, a specially-written spoken word telling of the Tull story performed by Ian over classic Tull track backing, plus a recording of Ian reading ‘Marmion’ with new, original musical backing. These signed copies were limited to 500 individually hand numbered copies, signed by Ian Anderson, however this version is unnumbered, and comes with two original art prints by cover artist Peter Klucik both unnumbered, and comes in a hand-made hessian clamshell box with red metallic foil on the cover.
