Hawkwind have announced that they will release a new album, Somnia, through Cherry Red Records in September
At the same time the band have announced a short run of live dates for September, as well as the band’s fabled three-day Hawkfest which will take place in August and their postponed London Palladium Arrival in Dystopia show which will take place in October.
“Somnia will be released to coincide with the return of our three-day Hawkfest festival, which runs from 27th – 29th August in East Devon, the anniversary of Hawkwind’s first ever live gig,” the band say in a statement. “The concept of Somnia makes many allusions to sleep; through Roman mythology and the god of sleep Somnus, the lyrics tell the tale of sleepless paranoia, strange encounters, fever dreams and meditation.”
Somnia will be available on CD and 180g vinyl and pre-orders will open soon.

If you were lucky enough to catch Bob Calvert running around in front of the ambitious & wonderful 'Atomhenge' set that they had on this tour, then this is a nice reminder of some great times! This collector's copy remains in Excellent condition with just a few light signs of handling in the past)

Folding out to 15½" x 22" of double sided goodness, this collector'scopy is in Excellent condition with just a few minor creases to show how it was carried home or minor storage wear, with no splits, rips or tears. These were given outfree at Space Ritual tour shows & very few have survived in as nice condition as this. Comes complete with a bonus pin badge from '72 featuring the Doremi Fasol Latido artwork!)

The sleeve is spectacular with very little wear . The vinyl also remains Excellent with just a few light paper scuffs/hairlines as minimal signs of play. A fabulous condition varient and being housed in a textured sleeve makes this an excellent collectable of this classic album UAS 29202)
