BENNIE GREEN Mosaic Select: Bennie Green (2003 numbered limited edition 33-track triple CD set, presented in a card slipcase with each disc housed within its own jewel case. Wonderful collection of the trombonists finest recordings for Blue Note, includes material from Back On The Scene, Soul Stirrin’, The ’45 Sessions, Walkin’ & Talkin’ and Congo Lament. This copy is numbered 4031 of 5000 and has remained sealed and is in ‘as new’ condition B2-82418).

JOHN COLTRANE Special (Rare 1976 Japanese-only & promotional-only 7-track LP sampler for in store play use, featuring a selection of Coltrane recordings from the Impulse back catalogue. Comes housed in a unique black & white flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve [VG+] has some light foxing with a tiny paper tear above the ‘Columbia’ wording on the front & no writing. The vinyl appears Near Mint Y-117).

DELLA REESE with THE BOBBY BRYANT QUINTET It Was A Very Good Year (1966 UK ‘A’ label demonstration vinyl 7″ for the single, with custom ‘Demonstration Record – Not For Sale’ & ‘23.9.66’ release date print on the four-prong centre. Della delivers an absolutely belting version of this tune, prompting Jazzman Gerald to reissue it in 2008 – this is the first ‘live’ version recorded at the Playboy Club in Hollywood, CA in 1966! Also features the b-side ‘Solitary Woman’, HMV die-cut sleeve.The vinyl remains clean & in Excellent condition with a few faint cosmetic signs of play SS2128).
