JAZZ Vinyl & CDs at eil.com this week includes Clifford Brown, Herbie Nichols, Dzyan and more

Jazz is one of the most influential, timeless and enduring genres in music. The structuring and songwriting styles from jazz has been used in other genres such as rock, metal, hip hop and funk throughout the years. It can range from subtle and relaxing, to eclectic free jazz freakouts and has something for every music fan. We scour collections to find both iconic releases and rare obscurities to give our customers a wide range to choose from.

The three highlights we have picked out below are just the tip of the iceberg from our selection, which can be viewed in full over at eil.com

CLIFFORD BROWN Memorial Album (1962 US issue of the 1956 10-track deep groove Mono vinyl LP on the ‘Blue Note Inc. The box shows minimal wear, the booklet free from creases and the vinyl Near Mint – wonderful MD5-118)

DZYAN Electric Silence (Rare 1974 German first issue 6-track quadraphonic [playable in stereo] vinyl LP on the orange & pink Bacillus label, amazing exotic Jazz-Rock, melding sitars, ambient soundscapes and almost Gamlan sounding collages, matt-laminated picture sleeve.
