ALLAN HOLDSWORTH The Allan Holdsworth Solo Album Collection (Sealed Limited Edition 2017 US-only 88-track TWELVE LP box set, the first definitive Holdsworth collection on vinyl. Contains Allan’s eleven studio albums from the late guitar geniusas well as one live album, all expertly remastered from the original tapes, with six of the albums making their vinyl debut. Each part is housed in a deluxe high quality picture sleeve complete with individual download cards that include bonus tracks that may not be on the LPs. All parts are housed in a unique 2.5″ deep & 12.5″ tall picture box. Pressed to the highest quality by Manifesto after high demand from the fans, this fantastic set remains limited to 500 copies only. MILES DAVIS Chronicle – The Complete Prestige Recordings 1951-1956 (Limited Edition 1985 Japanese Mono 94-track TWELVE LP box set, complete with Japanese & English booklets, a fold-out insert listing all the musicians who participated,a large poster & obi-strip, all housed in a hefty 12″ x 12″ x 3″ slide out picture box. The packaging & the vinyl discs remain in Excellent condition with just minor signs of wear & play. A fantastic collector’s set VIJ-5090~5101).
MICHAEL GARRICK SEXTET Jazz Praises (Rare 1968 UK-only 10-track mono LP recorded live at St. Paul’s Cathedral on 25th October 1968, complete with typed insert giving performance credits & a synopsis of the pieces performed. Also features Art Themen, Jim Philip, Ian Carr, Coleridge Goode & John Marshall. Housed in a unique front laminated flipback picture sleeve, this private recording was made & released by Garrick on the tiny Airborne label at the peak of his powers as part of The Don Rendell-Ian Carr Quintet & is now very hard to find. The sleeve is Excellent with a few light creases in the laminate with age & the vinyl remains nice & clean & in Excellent condition with evidence of just one or two plays in its lifetime. Lovely!
