JOHN SURMAN, ALAN SKIDMORE & TONY OXLEY Jazz In Britain ’68-’69 (Rare 1972 UK 5-track stereo vinyl LP featuring some magnificent new wave British Jazz from sessions recorded in the late sixties with a ‘supergroup’ also starring Mike Osbourne on Alto, John Taylor on Piano and Kenny Wheeler on Flugelhorn. The front-laminated picture sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear, mostly to the unlaminated back and the vinyl remains in excellent condition with little sign of play ECS2114).
GIL EVANS & STEVE LACY European Tour July 1978 (Limited Edition 1978 UK-only private press two-part LP, with custom stamped white labels. Contains rare live recordings & improvisations on Billy Harper’s ‘Thoroughbred’ & Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Stone Free’, with backing from Arthur Blythe, Lew Soloff, Peter Levin, Earl McIntyre, Lew Soloff, Don Pate & Sue Evans. This super rarity was limited to just 200 copies & originates from the private collection of a former staff member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross. Complete with a plain white stamped card sleeve & information sheet, the vinyl is Excellent to Near Mint with little sign of play).
DON CHERRY (CORNET) Togetherness (Rare 1966 Italian-only 5-track LP, recorded in Paris in spring 1965 (Togetherness One) & summer 1965 (Togetherness Two), also starring Gato Barbieri (tenor sax), Carlhans Berger (vibes), J. F. Jenny Clark (bass) & Aldo Romano (drums), housed in a really nice & unique laminated picture sleeve. The cover is Excellent with just a little minor corner & ring wear & the heavyweight vinyl is Excellent to Near Mint with barely a hint of play MSA77127).
