THE WHO The Kids Are Alright (1979 UK 19-track double LP soundtrack, housed in a pocket picture sleeve complete with embossed ‘film can’ inners, The Who back catalogue insert and a superb 12″ x 11″ colour 20-page photo booklet with biography ¬es on the recordings. There is a small amount of writing on the back of the sleeve, otherwise the sleeve and inserts are all in excellent condition, whilst the vinyl looks barely played).
THE SPECIAL AKA In The Studio (1984 UK 2 Tone label 10-track LP – the third studio album by the band was mischieviously titled as it referred to the amount of time Jerry Dammers & co. had spent ‘in the studio’ since their previous album threeyears earlier. Includes the tracks Nelson Mandela & Racist Friend & develops the exotic, filmic sound explored on More Specials, great blue wash picture sleeve with lyric inner. The sleeve and inner show very little wear, the vinyl is near mint CHRTT5008).
THE SMITHS Rank (1988 UK 14-track vinyl LP recorded live at The National Ballroom, Kilburn in October 1986, housed in the glossy gatefold picture sleeve featuring Alexandra Bastedo, star of ‘The Champions’ with original picture inner. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear and the vinyl remains near ‘as new’ with few signs of play ROUGH126).
