U2 The Best Of Collection 1980-1990 (Ultra rare 1998 UK promotional-only box set containing fourteen black vinyl 7″ singles containing all the tracks on the CDs plus a promotional double CD set & a 16-page photo booklet, all housed in an 8″ x7″x2″ gold flip-top custom box. This copy has remained factory sealed from new [although an open seam has devloped, although enough remains to ensure it has been unopened] & is therefore still mint & unplayed! BXU211).
U2 Boy (Ultra rare 1980 Japanese Island label 11-track vinyl LP manufactured by Toshiba-EMI with unique picture labels & Japanese/lyric insert. This issue was withdrawn after just a few days due to a change of distributor and then reissued with a different catalogue number and label design. The sleeve is Excellent with just the lightest signs of foxing & the vinyl appears Near Mint ILS-81395).
U2 Three (Very RARE original 1979 Irish 3-track 7″ vinyl EP including Out Of Control, Stories For Boys and Boy/Girl. This is where it all began for Bono, The Edge, Adam & Larry, the first issue on the sunburst CBS label with ‘UKTM No.B81 8092’ printed at the end of the perimeter text after the copyright notice and the ‘Grafotone’ text printed on the back of the sleeve. The card picture sleeve has the thumbcut to the back only and does show some evidence of shelfwear & age with a little discolouration, ringwear & light creasing to the edges / corners however, there are no seam splits evident to any of the edges. The vinyl itself has evidence of play with some surface scuffs noticeable but remains in VG condition. While this isn’t the first copy we’ve had, it is the first we’ve seen in FIFTEEN years. A superb and essential addition to any U2 collection! CBS7951).
