JEFF BECK Beck01 (Rare 2016 UK limited edition 352 page hard back book printed on Heavyweight 200gsm archival grade matt art paper, quarter bound by hand in Italian leather and aluminium, with silver page edging and hand tooling. A stamped metal front cover reproduces a Californian number plate from the year Beck was born, inset into the cover. The large format book is housed in an archival case, featuring a foil-blocked illustration inspired by Von Dutch’s legendary pinstriping designs.These were limited limited to 2,000 copies, and this example is number numbered 1155, hand signed by Jeff Beck, with a special printed pull string bag. This special copy was issues to commemorate the Japanese launch of the book at Bookmac in Tokyo, and includes a special commemorative certificate also signed by Jeff Beck, and bonus ‘Loud Hailer’ promo sticker. This example remains in a fantastic condition, and remains in the original card mailer!).
THE WHO The Studio Albums (2012 UK Strictly Limited Edition Boxset containing all ELEVEN of their studio albums pressed on Heavyweight Vinyl – Attractively presented with restored, original artwork, immaculate sound remastered bylongtime Who engineer John Astley, ‘The Studio Albums’ is the ultimate must-have for any fan of one of the legendary rock ‘n’ roll bands of all time. From the savvy, street-smart ‘My Generation’ of 1965, to the extraordinary 2006 career highof’Endless Wire’, the box set takes in the band’s multi-faceted journey from the experimental psychedelic years of ‘The Who Sell Out’, to the globe-dominating concepts of ‘Tommy’ and ‘Quadrophenia’ to the untouchable heights of masterpieces like ‘Who’s Next’ and ‘Who Are You’. For this limited edition release, great care has been taken to ensure it looks as good as it sounds. The box itself is a hard, full-colour presentation with matt lamination and spot-gloss varnish, while artwork restorations include the ‘Tommy’ sleeve with its original 6-panel fold-out and 12-page colour booklet, ‘Face Dances’ with its 24″ by 24″ poster insert and ‘The Who Sell Out’, with the same 20″ by 30″ poster as on the original 1967 pressings. The 13″ x 13″ x 3¼” Box displays some light general wear whilst the vinyl looks barely played, although not sealed a really nice example).
