Have you ever been to a concert and wish you had picked up something to remember the night by? Maybe it was a tour programme, or a t shirt, or perhaps you just misplaced the ticket stub you were holding on to as a memento. Alongside promotional memorabilia, we pick up quite a lot of tour memorabilia along the way, and we may just have the item you needed from a show you were at, or indeed wish you were at.
We can’t list everything that we have in stock here, but below are some highlights for just a taste of the full catalogue we have at eil.com
PRINCE Rolling Stone Magazine + Sign O’ The Times (October 2020 German limited edition Rolling Stone magazine with exclusive cover-mounted Prince 7″ single featuring Sign O’ The Times on the A-side and one of the vault tracks, Witness 4 The Prosecution (Version1) on the B-side. This is the special collectors edition of the magazine with an exclusive and previously unpublished cover photo by Prince photographer Jeff Katz, different to the news-stand/retail edition).
GUNS N ROSES Use Your Illusion I & II (Scarce original 1991 UK in-house set of three displays, produced to promote the release of the two albums. The first of the three measures 40″ x 13″ and features the artist name and album title, with the artwork for albums either end, the other two are identicle and feature a cut-out of the figure from Raphael’s painting The School of Athens which was used on the both albums cover art, measuring Approximately 41″ tall and 20″ wide. Each display shows some minor general wear and sighns of age, but are otherwise in really nice condition).
DAVID BOWIE Thin White Duke Poster (Circa 1976 UK 20″ x 30″ promotional-only poster featuring a wonderful portrait of David on stage in his Thin White Duke persona with ‘Macdonald & Jane’s Publishers LTD’ credit, although information on this item is scarce, it has been intimated that they were given away as part of a promotional campaign by Unigate Daries, however we could not testify to this. What is certain is that there are only a couple of examples to be found on the internet and we have never seen one before – always a sign of a scarce item. There are pin-holes to each corner, with few other signs of age and it has been stored rolled meaning no folds or deep creases. A great item that would look stunning framed; how many copies have survived is unknown, but we are fairly sure we will never find one again!).
