More often than not, those who spend a lifetime in the record industry will acquire a wide range of weird, wonderful and unusual memorabilia from the artists they worked with. That, along with items produced by artists and labels for general sale, makes up a lot of the memorabilia we come across here, and you could find something for your collection that you didn’t know existed before.
Check out these three hand-selected highlights below, and for our full range of what we have to offer head to eil.com
PINK FLOYD The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (2005 UK 10″ square photograph that was used as the iconic cover photograph for The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, signed at the bottom by the photographer, Vic Singh. This has been professionally framed and glazed in a 16″ square brushed aluminium frame. There is a letter of authenticity, also signed by Vic Singh, enclosed. It should be noted that the authenticity letter refers to a 11″ by 14″ photograph, but the extra inches were white border that are not displayed in the frame. This is incredibly vivid artwork and a far cry from the somewhat watered down version displayed on the album sleeve).
TEARS FOR FEARS The Seeds Of Love (1990 UK 28-page 10″ x 10″ tour programme, features tour dates, biography for each band member along with some superb photographs. With printed rice paper inner pages and a great die-cut front cover. The coverhas a light crease, otherwise remains in really nice condition).
BRYAN FERRY 1988 (Official UK 22-page tour programme with featuring photos and extensive information about his solo career and time with Roxy Music from 1972 to 1988, complete with a discography, tour credits and more. The cover has some light creases and remains excellent, however includes the ‘Harp Beat Live’ insert featuring an image of Bryan in action!).
