Supercar
2020 UK limited edition 20-track double LP pressed on “sherbert yellow” coloured Vinyl, a much sought-after soundtrack, this new version from Silva Screen contains much never-before-released material. Supercar was the second Gerry Anderson show to use the Supermarionation technique. An impressive thirty-nine episodes were produced between 1961 and 1962, so Barry Gray had to produce the music fast and on a limited budget. He composed a series of themes for locations, situations and characters. The main star of the show, Supercar, is given the heroic theme, whilst the rest of the score veers between charmingly whimsical to support the dialogue and menacing when underlining the drama. The forty-piece orchestra was conducted by Gray himself. Both discs are BRAND NEW & unplayed housed within the gatefold picture sleeve which comes with a hype-stickered rice paper belly-band to show that this release was manufactured without shrink wrap SILLP1591

UFO – 2019 UK limited edition 21-track double LP pressed on Lilac Vinyl, featuring the original soundtrack for Gerry Anderson’s live action television show. To complement the series, the Anderson’s frequent musical collaborator Barry Gray created a multi-faceted score that gave the programme its own musical identity. Elegantly crafted and a firm favourite with Barry Gray fans, the sound of UFO, particularly its ethereal ‘World Music’ closing credits is, quite simply, a joy, including the bonus recording Trampoline, performed by The Spencer Davis Group from the episode Ordeal. Both discs are BRAND NEW & unplayed housed within the gatefold picture sleeve which comes with a hype-stickered rice paper belly-band to show that this release was manufactured without shrink wrap SILLP1597
