The album delivers a wonderful fusion of voodoo mysticism, funk, rhythm & blues, psychedelic rock & Creole roots, including tunes that went on to serve as great cover material such as 'Gris-Gris Gumbo Ya Ya', 'Mama Roux' & 'I Walked On Gilded Splinters'.
